Commit It to God — Proverbs 16:3
We make plans every day.
Some are small.
Others involve important decisions about our work, relationships, responsibilities, or future.
Planning itself is not the problem.
The question is where we place those plans.
Proverbs 16:3 tells us:
Proverbs 16:3
“Commit your deeds to the LORD, and your plans shall succeed.”

Reflection / Encouragement
The verse begins with action:
“Commit your deeds to the LORD.”
Before asking God to bless where we have decided to go, Scripture invites us to place what we are doing into his hands.
That requires trust.
It means being willing not only to ask God to support our plans, but also to allow him to shape them.
Sometimes that may mean moving forward.
Sometimes it may mean waiting.
And sometimes God may lead us in a direction we had not considered.
The promise that our plans will succeed should not be reduced to the idea that everything we want will automatically happen.
Biblical trust is deeper than that.
When our work is genuinely committed to God, success is no longer measured only by whether events unfold according to our original expectations.
We begin to desire his direction more than our own control.
So whatever you are planning today, bring it before God.
Commit what you do to him.
Ask for wisdom.
Remain willing to be guided.
And then take the next step with trust.
A Quiet Moment
Whatever you are planning today, take a quiet moment to place it before God.
