Christian Quote of the Day — Oswald Chambers | October 14, 2026

These words from Oswald Chambers capture something many believers experience.

We often want clarity before we move forward.

We want to know how things will unfold, where the road leads, and what the outcome will be. We feel more secure when we can see ahead.

Yet faith does not always work that way.

Chambers reminds us that faith is not primarily about understanding every detail. It is about knowing and trusting God.

That does not mean questions disappear.

It does not mean uncertainty becomes easy.

It means that when we cannot see the whole path, we can still know the character of the One who leads us.

God is not uncertain, even when we are.

God is not confused, even when we do not understand.

And because of that, we can keep walking with him.

Faith does not always come with full understanding or a clear view of what lies ahead.

Oswald Chambers reminds us that peace is not found in knowing every step, but in trusting the One who is leading us. When the path feels unclear, we can still walk forward with confidence in God.
