Trust His Goodness — Lamentations 3:25

Waiting is rarely easy.

We often want clarity, change, or an answer as soon as possible. When those things do not come quickly, it can be tempting to wonder whether anything is happening at all.

Lamentations 3:25 offers a quiet reminder:

Lamentations 3:25

“The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.”
— Lamentations 3:25 WEBU

Reflection / Encouragement

The verse begins with something important:

The LORD is good.

His goodness does not begin after the waiting ends.

It is already true while we wait.

That changes the way we understand seasons of uncertainty.

Waiting does not mean God is absent.

It can become a place where we learn to seek him more deeply, trust his character more fully, and release our need to control the timing.

The verse also connects waiting with seeking.

We are not simply standing still and doing nothing.

We are turning our attention toward God.

We are continuing to pray.

We are continuing to trust.

And we are remembering that his goodness is not measured by how quickly circumstances change.

If you are waiting today, keep seeking him.

His timing may not be yours, but his goodness has not changed.

A Quiet Moment

If you are waiting today, take a quiet moment to seek God and remember his goodness.
