My God Will Hear Me — Micah 7:7
Waiting can be difficult.
When we have prayed about something for a long time, silence can begin to feel like absence. We may wonder whether God sees what is happening, whether he has heard us, or whether an answer will ever come.
Micah 7:7 offers a simple but powerful response:
Micah 7:7
“But as for me, I will look to the LORD. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.”

Reflection / Encouragement
Micah does not say that every answer has already arrived.
Instead, he makes a choice while he waits.
He will look to God.
He will wait for God.
And he will trust that God hears him.
That kind of confidence is not based on circumstances changing immediately. It is rooted in the character of the One he is waiting for.
There will be seasons when we would rather have an immediate answer than another lesson in patience. Yet Scripture repeatedly reminds us that waiting does not mean God is absent.
Sometimes faith looks very simple.
We continue to pray.
We continue to look toward God.
We continue to trust him even when the situation has not yet changed.
Micah’s final words are wonderfully direct: “My God will hear me.”
If you are waiting today, you do not need to fill the silence with fear. Keep looking toward God and entrust the unanswered things to him.
Your waiting is not unseen, and your prayers are not unheard.
A Quiet Moment
If you are waiting for an answer today, take a quiet moment to place it in God’s hands.
